The ideal temperatures for Paphiopedilums are 85' F. during the day and 60' F. at night. Paphiopedilums require air movement, especially when temperatures exceed 85' F. If the environment does not provide for air circulation, a small fan may be necessary. Paphiopedilums do NOT like temperatures above 90' F. The best humidity levels for Paphiopedilums range from a low of 40% to a high of 80%. If the humidity is higher than 80%, increase air movement. Cooler temperatures at night will help initiate flower spikes. Do not let the plants go below 50' F. or damage could result. |
