The ideal temperature Cattleya is between 70-90 F. during the day and 55-65 F. at night. Cattleyas require air movement, especially when temperatures exceed 85' F. If the environment does not provide for air circulation, a small fan may be necessary. Cattleyas do NOT like temperatures above 100' F. The best humidity levels for Cattleyas range from a low of 50% to a high of 80%. If daytime humidity is too low, mist the plant by applying only to the leaves and only during the morning hours. Do not mist during late afternoon or night, and never mist the flowers |
